Located at beachside, THE PIG features floor-to-ceiling picture windows in the living area to bring you close to the beach, whether you are in the living room, dining area, or kitchen. With a spacious kitchen, plenty of room in the dining area, and a comfortable arrangement of leather-covered seating, this house is perfect for friends or family gatherings.
To the right of the living area is the master bedroom and bathroom. This bedroom also has floor-to-ceiling windows covered by substantial drapes for privacy and sleeping in.
Adjacent to the dining area is the middle bedroom with ocean view, and at streetside is the third bedroom, also with ocean view. The second bathroom is around the corner and hallway from the kitchen.
After the best night's sleep that you've ever had, you'll want to dash down the porch stairs to the water and frolic in the sand and sea. Waves are gentle and rhythmic, but sand will find its way into toes and bathing suits, so after playing in the surf, you can either spritz off at ground level in the outdoor shower which includes seating, helpful for getting sand out of toes. Otherwise, you can use the deck-level hose. Hang wet suits and towels on the deck-side line to dry in open air and then find a book from THE PIG's shelves and lie back, perhaps to read or nap. What a life!
At THE PIG you have so many ways to enjoy your comfortable and relaxing vacation, releasing you from any winter tensions. With easy proximity to the water, you also have easy access to all things on Oak Island, whether you want to wander the wide open beaches at the west end, stroll through the many parks dotted throughout the island, dine at the numerous restaurants, or sit lazily on the deck bench at the Caswell Beach viewing area. So much to see and do here that you'll want to come back.
